Teaching methods and teachers are fine but the biggest problem is that the Heels academy is too much commercial and focusses more on the number of students. At a time there were more than 30 students in a single batch with different age groups and also different expertise levels due to which there wont be an equal focus to all students but only to those who are performing good or have got some experience. There should be a check on number of students in a single batch to max 10-15 only and also to categorize for the age groups/expertise levels. | 5★ – Rashika Bhandari: I recently completed Level 1 of salsa dance at Heels Dance Academy as a total beginner, and it’s been an amazing experience! The instructors, Anuj and Ankita, are incredibly patient and practical in their teaching. They break down each step in a clear, point-by-point manner, making it easy to follow along and build confidence. Their approach is both encouraging and thorough, and I appreciate how they ensure everyone is comfortable at their own pace. Thanks to their guidance, I’m excited to move on to Level 2 and continue improving my skills. 5★ – Ishita 14: Pradnyas Zumba is THE perfect blend of fun and fitness. As a high cardio zumba instructor, her energy never dips in the session. The choice of songs are so good that her energy gets infectious and gets us in the dancing mode too. Even as a nutritionist, her knowledge about the right diet has helped me. I personally benefited by reversing my pre-diabetes, HbA1C dropped from 6.1 to 5.5 in just 4 months without any medicines. Besides losing weight,my BMR, sleep, skin, hair, and overall mood has improved. My stamina eventually increased from 2 songs to 5 to 7 but still can’t match her energy. Be it 1 student or 17 she’s very regular with her classes and schedules, online or offline. And most importantly, she’s a good human packed with emotions. She treats every member of the zumba club as her family and considers if we miss a class or need to readjust schedules. WHO does that these days now !!! Whenever I lost a kg or got my periods on time or a painless one or scored well in my work or health report card, there were always two people happy…me and HER ! 5★ – Adrian Rodrigues: Great studio to conduct your dance, zumba, yoga etc classes. There are a total of 2 studios here of different sizes. Located just off linking road the place is very easy to find. There is no parking here but you can find some spots on the same lane. It’s not a very busy road so there is no issue of traffic. The studio is well equipped with a very good sound system and lights. There is a waiting area in between the 2 studios. | 5★ – Ria Bajaj: I rent out the studio to practice aerial and pole fitness and hold workshops. Really love the vibe of the space. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the management is cooperative and encourage budding artists and performers. They provide amenities like toilets, a waiting area, a great bluetooth and aux compliant music system. The flooring is wooden and is lovely to dance on. Ceiling rigs are available and the space is sound proof. They provide a water cooler and there is a ballet bar!! | 4★ – Sayee Girdhari: 10 mins walk from Santa Cruz railway station. I’ve visited the venue (Hall no. 2) for the Lindy Hop workshop conducted by ‘Slingshot Swing’. It’s a beautiful airconditioned event place with 2 halls, a waiting room and a clean washroom. The venue hosts a myriad of dance and yoga classes. The notice board displays posters of these classes and events.
